Module development is the joint responsibility of both the customer and WriteDoc. The responsibility of each during each module development stage is shown below. Also see Development Methodology.

Provide printed and electronic copies of existing materials; review Draft project plan

Gather information; review information; define content and structure; prepare and deliver Draft project plan

Authorize

Review Final project plan; answer clarification questions from WriteDoc; approve the Final project plan by email

Incorporate review comments; prepare and deliver Final project plan; upload an Acrobat or HTML version to project Web site

Develop

Answer questions; review Draft modules; mark review comments on printed version of each module; approve each Draft module by email

Research, write, and illustrate; prepare Draft modules and upload Acrobat or HTML versions to project web site

Test

Identify field trial users; review Beta modules; mark comments on printed version of each module; approve each Beta module by email

Incorporate development comments on Draft modules; add an index; prepare Beta modules and upload Acrobat or HTML versions to project Web site; edit each Beta module

Deliver

Accept and approve each Final module by email

Incorporate comments on Draft/Beta modules; incorporate editorial comments; prepare Final documents and upload Acrobat or HTML versions to project web site; prepare PostScript and CRMs for delivery to printer; prepare modules for delivery on CD
